AMAN ANGADI

Founder and President

Aman Angadi is an Indian-American youth leader, researcher, and social entrepreneur.

Under his leadership, Pragat Foundation has become one of the world’s largest youth-led translation nonprofits, with 1,800+ expected volunteers across 108 countries by the end of the year, translating over 1.3 million words into 97 languages and reaching 1.4 million people worldwide. The organization has been recognized by the United Nations and globally honored by the Learning Planet Institute for innovation in education and global knowledge equity.

Aman has served as one of the youngest delegates for the United Nations through the ECOSOC Youth Forum, where he advocated for decolonization, education equity, and youth inclusion in policymaking. He was also named a Global Winner in the UN Association of the UAE’s Global SDGs Challenge in the category of SDG 4: Quality Education, as well as a Global Semifinalist for the Learning Planet Institute x UNESCO’s Youth Design Challenge. Recently, his team became the Global Champion of the Harvard Crimson Global Quiz Bowl (World History). His team was also the Champion of North America and he placed 3rd in North America individually.

In addition to his global work, Aman is deeply involved in his local community. He leads his school’s Model United Nations and Speech & Debate programs and founded and presided over its UNICEF Chapter Club, advancing youth engagement in international cooperation and human rights.

Through his leadership and advocacy, Aman continues to champion education equity, decolonization of knowledge, and youth empowerment worldwide.
