HANA SALOUM

Hana Saloum is a high school junior living in New Jersey. A first-generation Polish-Egyptian student, she is passionate about cultural psychology, international relations, and law, aiming to major in global health and international relations in college. Raised in a multilingual household speaking Polish, Arabic, and English. She is also pursuing fluency in Spanish and Italian.
Her language skills allow her to navigate cultural complexities with ease, fueling her commitment to bridging global divides. As the founder of a nonprofit connecting over 200 girls worldwide through letter exchanges, she drives impactful advocacy. At school and within her community, she plays singles on the Varsity Tennis Team, serves as an officer of Girls’ Club, acts as Secretary of Model United Nations, and is Vice Chair of She’s In Office NJ. Her ongoing research on cultural psychology and familial expectations strengthens her mission to empower women and foster cross-cultural understanding.
