PRAGAT FOUNDATION AT THE 2025 ECOSOC YOUTH FORUM

New York City, NY — April 14th - 17th
United Nations Headquarters

Aman Angadi, Founder and President of Pragat Foundation, represented the nonprofit as one of the youngest youth delegates at the 2025 ECOSOC Youth Forum held at the United Nations Headquarters in New York City.

The ECOSOC Youth Forum is a major global platform where young changemakers engage directly with world leaders, UN agencies, policymakers, and civil society to shape the future of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

At the Forum, Aman participated in high-level discussions and negotiations, advocating for decolonization and economic equity through multilingual access to information. He emphasized the critical importance of language justice in global development and called for greater youth inclusion in policymaking processes at all levels.

Serving as a delegate at this year’s ECOSOC Youth Forum was an incredible opportunity to share our nonprofit’s story and learn from others. It was truly inspiring.
— Aman Angadi

Aman highlighted the urgent need for language equity in advancing the SDGs while discussing crucial topics like decolonization and economic justice. Not only this, but he advocated for youth to have a more important role in the policymaking process at the international level.
