Director of Volunteer Resources

Yimeng Ma is a sophomore at Mt. San Antonio College in California, pursuing an A.S.-T degree in Mathematics. Originally from Beijing, China, she plans to transfer to a University of California campus to continue studying pure mathematics. She recently attended UCLA’s summer session, where she further explored her interest in theoretical foundations. At her college, she conducts research in mathematical analysis and problem-solving methods, deepening her understanding of logical structure.

She currently serves as the Director of Volunteer Resources at the Pragat Foundation, where she supports the coordination and engagement of volunteers across various community projects. Yimeng also tutors high school students, helping them strengthen their academic skills and confidence. Her passion for mathematics shapes the way she approaches problem-solving and motivates her to use knowledge as a tool for social contribution. She enjoys delving into complex problems that challenge her perspective and hopes to one day pursue a career in academia or research, and hopes to use her skills to make meaningful contributions to her community and beyond.
